Grounded
in a pastoral community outside Detroit, Michigan, 3graces
media juxtaposes an airy urban sensibility with earthy Midwestern
roots. A virtual enclave of visionaries and practical dreamers,
we take a holistic approach to client services. Our philosophy
is to bring the best possible combination of services to our
clients, utilizing an ever-growing network of engaged and
gifted professionals.
We cultivate
the intuitiveness of right-brained thinking while marrying
it to the logic of the left, coming together as a far more
effective whole. We are passionate about our projects and
our clients, and our passion has led us on some memorable
travels. Believe us when we say we wouldn’t have missed
a single thing along the way.

Founder
Karen Koski started 3graces media in 1998.
She spent many years in the Detroit music community as a photographer,
writer, manager, publicist and cheerleader for local musicians.
Her writing credits include Jam Rag, Metro Times,
Billboard and Lipservice, as well as many,
many bios, press releases and other promotional writing. She
worked as house publicist for Detroit’s Drum Dancer
Records since its inception, and was on the executive board
for the Motor City Music Foundation (1998-2004), which puts
on the Detroit Music Awards, returning to the Board in 2006.
She has done everything from hauling gear to stage-managing
two-day outdoor rock festivals to booking and tour managing
multi-state concert tours.
Karen
has been actively involved in creating organizations (Detroit
Musicians Alliance; North Oakland Transportation Authority)
that seek to provide assistance to target audiences. She has
also worked as co- producer on several film projects (Burning
Man Through Irish Eyes, Hothouse Flowers: Scenes
From A Tour, Live At The Ave: Hothouse Flowers with
Colin Devlin, all in 2002-2004). Additionally, she spent
many years working in government- and grant-funded programs,
providing technical assistance, technical and public relations
writing, marketing services, workforce development services,
and program development and administration.
Her vision
of 3graces media has always been of a collective of affiliated
experts, whose common threads are a visionary and synergistic
outlook, a passion for their work, a slightly twisted sense
of humor, and a complete commitment to the client.
